High Voltage Halloween Haul & Swatches!

Hey everyone! I have a haul from the High Voltage Cosmetics' halloween collection! :D

I got both sets, set one had five shadows and was $25 and set two had four shadows was $20, with free shipping. ^^ They only took 3 days from the time I ordered them to get here! Holy shit!

The package came in a bubble mailer and each jar had tape around the sides to keep them from coming open. These jars... were PACKED full! The website says 5 gram jars with 3.5 grams of product in each jar... most companies put about 1.5-2.5 grams MAX per jar. Whoa... that's a lot of extra value on these babies. :o There was also a lovely hand-written note and some cute halloween stickers, which are so fun. :D The colors are even prettier than I thought they were going to be, and the ones I was kinda iffy on when I purchased them I totally fell in love with.

L-R 1st row: Trick O Treat, Vampire's Kiss, Ghost Town, Witch's Brew
L-R 2nd row: Tombstone, Zombie Chic, Bloody Mary, Graveyard Dirt
3rd row: Swamp Thing

Morgana Cryptoria Review!

Again, I forgot to do my review. =P Since I ordered from Morgana's Minerals, the name has changed to Morgana Cryptoria.

Morgana Cryptoria is a very unique mineral indie company, well known for their beautiful rainbow of lipsticks. Full sized eyeshadows are $6.50, and full sized lipsticks are $10. The order I placed was during a 50% off sale, and I got 15 full sized shadows and 2 full sized lipsticks. Customer service is top of the line, Melissa is so sweet!

My swatches!

Shadows:
Alchemy- A bright fuchsia with blue shift/sparkles! So pretty, I've been trying to hold myself back from using this one up. =P
Beowulf- A beautiful blue with gold/greenish blue shift and sparkles. So deep and complex.
Concubine- Deep red semi-matte base loaded with red and gold sparkles. I was worried the glitter wouldn't show up once applied to the lid, but boy it does!
Fortress- To think I wasn't going to buy this one... Wow, such a great color. A mauve/pink base with strong blue shift. So gorgeous.
Goblet- A nice metallic wine color, with silver sparkles.
Lady Godiva- A fitting name for an amazing color. Dusty purple with pink sparkles and shift. Perfect for a smoky eye.
Mordered- I don't normally go for browns, this is an exception. Just stunning, and it goes with just about any look.
LE #7- Whoa... another one I wasn't going to order but am so glad I did. Just think of the word "fairytale", and you'll get a good image of this one in your head. Light purple with pink/purple/blue sparkles and shift.
Zombie Ambrosia- Hehe, I love that name. Bright blue with a pink shift, for some reason I thought this one was going to be purple, but it's not. Which is a good thing to me, the blue makes the pink stand out more. :D
Pumpkin Pie- A nearly metallic orange with gold sparkles. This one suits my skin soooo well. :D
Harken- I don't even know what to say about this one. It's officially one of my ALL TIME favorite shades. I adore this color, you need to get one!
North Pole- Name is pretty well suited for this one, it's so magical. Picture a blue pine tree all lit up with bright lights and colorful bulbs upon it, and you'll get a good image of this color. Sooo complex.
Tinsel Me- A nearly metallic silver loaded with sparkle.
Twinkling Cherrine- Great orange based red satin with red and silver sparkle.
Crow's Nest- Perfect dark metallic gold.

Lipsticks:
The formula on these... leaves me speechless. I would have never expected such funky shades to be so opaque and still be so smooth. Both shades I got are now discontinued, but there are still sooooo many more to pick from!

Slime- SUPER bright and opaque lime green!
Serpent- Dark green with beautiful green and gold sparkle.

Shipping was pretty good, and I did get a tracking number. Prices are pretty cheap too.

Would I order again?
HELL FUCKING YES. One of my favorite companies evar! :o

Glamour Doll Eyes Review!

Okay, so I just realized I posted my haul and swatches, but never posted my review. =/ Fail. Anyways, on we go!

Glamour Doll is a pretty well known indie mineral makeup company. I can see that this is for good reason, their shadows are awesome. The order I received was from the customer appreciation sale, in which all full sizes were on sale for 50% off. They are normally $6 per full jar. I got 14 full sized eyeshadows, and got a free gloss with my order also. I don't think the Glamour Glosses are still available, so I won't post about it.

My swatches!

Dinospotz- WHOA! This one is so awesome! It's a beautiful redish brown with a blue-green shift! Totally in love. :D
Mind Reader- From the Twilight collection, this extremely dark blue with silver sparkles is lovely. One of my favs for sure. I was a little worried about this one when I ordered because it was a more matte base with glitter (which can lead to disaster!) but the glitter held and showed up on my lid wonderfully.
Trophy Wife- Totally like liquid gold. As soon as you open up the jar on this baby you can see that.
Masquerade- A smoky pink color, great for a dark or light eye.
Olivia Green- Another fave, this one is a matte PIGMENTED forest green.
Oddity- This is a very complex shade, a lime green with yellow/green shift and sparkles.
Stiletto- Bright matte pink. A little hard to work with because of the texture, but pretty nice overall.
Tattooed- OMG, so pretty! Another fav here, a bright ass purple with pink/purple shift and sparkle!
Grease Lightning- Only used this once in a look so far. Pretty nice texture, a dirty greenish gold with black/green/gold sparkles.
Veteran- Aww, I wish this was as pretty as it looked in the jar. A royal shimmery blue with bright red sparkles, which unfortunately don't show up too much once on the lid... over a sticky base. Maybe if you used it over some Pixie Epoxy, it'd work out better.
Victorian- A nice purple with a pink/purple/gold shift, which I haven't even used in a look yet. :o
Dusk- Dirty kind of blue with sparkles, this one's perfectly paired with Morgana's "Fortress"!
Stellar- Once again, wish this was as pretty as is was in the jar. It's supposed to be a blackened purple with purple and pink glitter, but no matter what I do to it, it just turns out black on the lid. =(
Radioactive- I've tried using this almost a dozen times, and it's almost impossible to use. It's so disappointing because when I opened my package this is the one I was most excited to use, but the texture is too hard for me to work with... and I'm used to working with mattes. =/

Customer service is wonderful, Vee is very dedicated to her business and her customers. Shipping was great and you do get a tracking number with your package, which fast and prompt. Prices are reasonable.

Would I order again?
Some products are hit and miss, but what does work is just plain awesome. Customer service is excellent and shipping was great.
